Benjamin W. Wah is a Research Professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Franklin W. Woeltge Professor Emeritus of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Previously, he served as the Provost and Wei Lun Professor of Computer Science and Engineering of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, as well as the Franklin W. Woeltge Endowed Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Professor of the Coordinated Science Laboratory of the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, USA. Wah received his Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of California, Berkeley, CA, in 1979. He has received many awards for his research and service contributions, including the IEEE-CS W. Wallace-McDowell Award (2006), the IEEE-CS Richard E. Merwin Award (2007), the IEEE-CS Tsutomu Kanai Award (2009), the Distinguished Alumni Award in Computer Science of the University of California, Berkeley (2011), and the Bronze Bauhinia Star of the Hong Kong Self Administrative Region (2021). Wah's research interests are nonlinear search and optimization, multimedia technologies, and artificial intelligence. Wah co-founded the IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering in 1988 and served as its Editor-in-Chief between 1993 and 1996. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Computers and Education: Artificial Intelligence and the Honorary Editor-in-Chief of Knowledge and Information Systems. In addition, Wah served the IEEE Computer Society in various capacities, including Vice President for Publications (1998 and 1999) and President (2001). He is a Fellow of the AAAS, ACM, and IEEE.

Prof. Xiaoli Li,

Prof. Li is currently a department head (Machine Intellection department, consisting of 100+ AI and data scientists, which is the largest AI and data science group in Singapore) and a principal scientist at the Institute for Infocomm Research, A*STAR, Singapore. He also holds an adjunct professor position at Nanyang Technological University (he was holding an adjunct position at the National University of Singapore for 6 years). He is an IEEE Fellow and a Fellow of the Asia-Pacific Artificial Intelligence Association (AAIA). Prof. Li is also serving as KPMG-I2R joint lab co-director. He has been a member of the Information Technology Standards Committee (ITSC) of ESG Singapore and the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) since 2020. Moreover, he serves as a health innovation expert panel member for the Ministry of Health (MOH), an expert panel member for the Ministry of Education (MOE), and an AI advisor for the Smart Nation and Digital Government Office (SNDGO), Prime Minister's Office, highlighting his extensive involvement in key government and industry initiatives. The machine intelligence department has established itself as a leader in the industry, with a proven track record of successful collaborations with various partners, including SIA, KPMG, Lam Research, Global Foundations, DBS, Singtel, Mclaren, AIA, Standard Chartered Bank, NEC, and NCS. Moreover, the department has also achieved remarkable success on the international stage, having won prestigious competitions such as the IJCAI Competition (Stage 1), which is considered the top AI conference in the world, in 2015, and the KDD Cup (Part of the First Place Winning Team), which is the best data mining competition in the world, in the same year. Additionally, the department also emerged victorious in the GE Flight Quest Challenge in 2013, further solidifying its reputation as a world-class research team. Prof. Li's research interests span a wide range of topics, including data mining, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and bioinformatics. He is highly respected in the academic community and has served in various leadership positions (area chairs, senior PC members, workshop chairs, and session chairs) in the most prominent AI/data mining/machine learning-related conferences, such as KDD, ICDM, SDM, PKDD/ECML, ACML, PAKDD, WWW, IJCAI, AAAI, ACL, and CIKM. Prof. Dr. Fahriye Altınay

Prof. Dr. Fahriye Altınay has been teaching undergraduate courses in educational instructional technologies and material design, classroom management, ethics in education, social responsibility, scientific research methods, and more since 2002. She also teaches postgraduate courses such as project management, education management, contemporary education supervision, and society, culture, and education.
Dr. Altinay is a full-time faculty member at Near East University, North Cyprus, working scientifically and administratively on issues such as higher education boards, multiculturalism, quality studies, strategic planning, unimpeded informatics, and smart society. Prof. Dr. Altınay is the vice director of the Graduate Education Institute, the chair of the Center for Social Research and Development, and the head of the Education Entrepreneurship and Innovation Department and Computer Education and Instructional Technologies. She is also an editor and referee for international journals and books. Her research interests include
developing critical friends and skills online with international perspectives and practices, participation in online learning, online learning readiness of higher education institutions, education and distance education practices of disabled individuals in the pandemic period, open education resources, MOOCs, barrier-free tourism, and education. She is currently working on projects on the disabled, inclusive education practices, entrepreneurship, and community analysis during the pandemic period.
